Using ice to cure acne/pimples?

I heard from a friend that rubbing ice on my face can cure acne/pimples is that true? And how do I do it?|||no, it actually is not. the best way to cure acne is to get a prescription from ure doctor. i cured mine for a doctor%26#039;s prescription .|||If your %26quot;acne%26quot; is a gigantic large red pimple (boil) .. ice is the way to go. Usually, when you get a boil and it doesn%26#039;t have a head..and you try everything to bring it to a head.. and nothing works. Use ice.. Ice calms down the swelling and gets rid of the redness.. repeat it for 3 days straight Report Abuse
|||No, ice is used to decrease swelling especially the bags under your eyes. It works a treat for that.

get a bowl and fill it with VERY hot water, then put your head over it, not in it, and cover your head with a towel so the steam can get into your pores. Then wipe your face so it wipes away all the dirt then wash with cold water to close the pores. You could then try a deep sea or mint tea tree wash or just use normal soap and rise this off again with cold water.

I%26#039;ve always used this to maintain my clear skin.

This probably wont work if it%26#039;s serious acne but it will with pimples. If it%26#039;s serious acne, you need to go to your doctors for treatment.|||No, if you buy some anti-pimple cream, it will quickly terminate them, but if you don%26#039;t want to waste the money, washing your face twice a day (in morn and at night) they will disappear in less than a week. To keep them from reoccurring, just be sure to wash your face regularly! Good Luck!!!!|||Not alone.

Crush up Asprin and lean back, put it on the area that has acne/pimples and then but an ice cube over it. Hold it there for 4 minutes and if it isn%26#039;t gone the next day it will have a head.

Hope I helped.|||Ice will reduce swelling and redness. A pimple is like a little infection, remember. But ice will not cure the real cause- sebum buildup in the pore.

Acutally, rubbing ice directly on your face might cause more redness.|||it is very true. the only thing is you have to be using dry ice, and you should tape it to your face over night with a powerful adhesive such as duct or electrical tape.|||Ice down the acne before bed, by morning it should be noticeably less swollen. Works best on larger pimples that have not yet formed a head.|||it wont cure your acne but it reduces the redness and swelling

just hold an ice cube to your pimple(s) for a little bit.|||The myth (yes, it%26#039;s a myth) originated because people typically get less breakouts in cold weather... primarily due to lowered humidity. So, no. I%26#039;ve tried it.|||I am not sure but the acne devices they sell in stores use heat not cold. Most methods dry the acne and ice is wet. I am skeptical but who really knows.|||No it wont help the acne but rather reduce the swelling around the area. Try some over the counter cremes or go to the doc.|||yesw it helps put cold ice on ur pimples till the ice melts and wash ur face with cold water it makes ur pimples go down and its like a skin tone and it gives skin glow.!|||have you ever heard someone say %26quot;i got rid of my acne with ice%26quot; noo, if ice cured acne no one would have it.|||no that is not true. buy some pro active|||no you need heat|||no its not..

your friend is a retard|||no
