I%26#039;ve got an acne problem and I am looking for bodywashes/soaps that will cure acne. Are there any good natural (no animals or animal testing, no petroleum, drugs or harsh chemicals) soaps or bodywashes that would take care of this problem?
BTW, Eucalyptus could kill me and I%26#039;d prefer not smelling like flowers.|||This easy, effective method uses one kitchen-cupboard herbal ingredient, and calls upon the power of a warm compress to open pores and allow the healing benefits of the herb to work on blemished skin. The compress method is more comforting and quicker to use than a facial steam, but is every bit as effective. For directions on how to do this. Check out this article. The web site also has other herbal remedies.
Peace
GG|||Well if u live near a Trader Joe%26#039;s. I suggest u buy some jojoba oils. i kno oils are bad for you if have acne but this one is different. Jojoba oil is not actually an oil but a wax ester very similar to the natural oil that our body produces through our sebaceous glands. The jojoba oil tricks your skin into thinking that it has produced enough oil so it won%26#039;t over produce oil and clog your pores. I have also read that it can reduce fine lines and wrinkles. its only $6.99 and i hear it really works.|||Actually you will be better off avoiding products which state not tested on animals. This shows that the company is either testing on humans or just not testing at all. With your limitations I am afraid all you will find is junk. Please stop the needless dths of 2,000 people a day join the anti-green society of America (AGSA). Become a brown and help save the world.|||Here%26#039;s a good rule given to me by a professional drag queen/cabaret artist. I worked with the guy (during the day, not on stage!) and yeah, he had amazing skin.
Never, ever under any circumstance whatsoever touch your face with your hands. Always use a clean washcloth and wash your face in the morning and before you got to bed.
Wash with warm water and for the final rinse - go cold and close the pores so they are less apt to collect bacteria.
Even better than a washcloth - a dedicated loufa, because washcloths have detergent from the washing machine. Change your loufa well before it starts to smell.
Nuetrogena products seem the best and I think they meet your criteria.
It works!|||I use pine tar soap (from the health food store) which I have found great a stopping body acne. I don%26#039;t use it on my face but my husband does, he says he has never had a problem with it, it has helped him not break out so much. He is fairly acne prone and has very oily skin...he loves the pine tar as it helps with this.|||Try saunas and steam baths. Sweating will clean out your pores and system generally and will make your skin feel and look great. A little sun and a little seawater are useful too if you%26#039;re near a beach.|||Well, there are a couple of things which are dietary in nature.
Avoid fatty foods, (chips, fried meats etc, cheese, butter).
Start eating more meals which involve vegetables / fresh produce.
Avoid SALT!
Add Potassium (K), Bananas are by far one of the tastier and easiest methods of getting good amounts of K, Potato%26#039;s area also really good.
This does two thing since Potassium works to get rid of excess sodium which directly affects your cells holding water and oils and God knows what else.
Good hygiene, like someone else said, keeping your face clean and avoiding harsh chemicals is a definite plus and relatively easy to do.
Don%26#039;t use very hot water on your face, it tends to dry it out so your face pours on the oil to compensate, use a mild soap and wash. Shave as carefully as possible and use mild soap and low levels of astringents in your shave cream (if you use any).|||http://www.home-remedies-for-you.com/rem鈥?/a>|||Cure no. There are amazing prescription creams now available from your GP that will reduce acne. These are used only short term to get the problem under control then go on to more natural products long term.
Boil 1 tablespoon of dried Thyme with 1 tablespoon of Calendula blossoms for ten minutes. Allow to cool and strain. Put in a bottle and in the fridge. Use this as a face wash.
Use Witch Hazel (astringent) and healing afterwards.
As you don%26#039;t want to smell of flowers, use Pure Lavender Essential Oil before you go to bed. This is the very best you can use for any skin injury including burns. It is very antiseptic
amazingly fast healing and prevents scars. You should usually always dilute essential oils with a carrier oil. With Lavender use neat (without diluting) directly onto your acne (a herbalist recommended this to me years ago and it is like magic).
If you do not do anything else use the Pure undiluted Lavender Essential Oil and drink lots of water this really helped my son who is now totally clear of acne and has no scars.
